The Academic and Cultural Center of the UNAM campus Juriquilla

All EISOLS scientific and technical sessions will take place at the Academic and Cultural Center, located at the campus Juriquilla of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. The campus is located at the northern edge of Queretaro City and only two hours from Mexico City.

Santiago de Querétaro is the complete name of the city that has been a cornerstone in the history of Mexico. The Valley of Queretaro is the limit between the desertic Aridoamerica and Mesoamerica, which have contrasting ways of life since prehispanic times. Santiago de Queretaro become the Third City of the Reign during the Colonial epoch. Queretaro played been an important and protagonic role during the Independence, the Reform, and the Revotion times. Queretaro offers interesting museums, barroque architecture, modern shopping centers, and natural attractives, decorated with the warmth of its people, their music and gastronomy.

Queretaro City is 215 km to the northwest of Mexico City. To arrive: by bus from the Mexico City. Airport to Querétaro, it is suggest that U.S. participants to get their connecting flights from Houston or Los Angeles to the airport in Querétaro or for Europeans to make connecting flights through Cancun Airport to the Querétaro Airport.Instructions on how to arrive to the UNAM campus Juriquilla (only in spanish).
