Fieldtrips

•  A one-day field trip, on Wednesday 19th October, will visit subsidence areas within Queretaro City and other nearby cities.

•  A two-day post-congress technical and cultural field trip will visit Mexico City, the first monitoring center of subsidence and fracturing in Latin America in Iztapalapa, and subsidence areas and the archeological zone of Teotihuacan outside the city.

•  A two-day post-conference geological trip will visit the volcanic zone of Central Mexico and to observe the f ast sinking at the bottom of a recently desiccated crater-lake at Rincón de Parangueo: unusual evidence of active subsidence at the Bajío region (Guanajuato, Mexico). NEW!
